Staff and Students Commends Wesley University Management for Smooth Semester Exams.

The 2nd semester examination at Wesley University Ondo, held from May through June, 2024 for both undergraduate and post graduate students, was lauded by students and staff  for its impressive conduct, marked by fairness, transparency, and absence of bias.

The University Management praised the contribution and collaborative efforts of administrators, staff and other workers to have contributed to creating an environment where students can demonstrate their knowledge and skills with confidence.

According to the Vice Chancellor of the university Right Reverend Sunday Obeka, the school over the years has always been known for free and fair examination practice and will continue in its quest to soar higher in character and knowledge.

According to Gbadebo Faith, a student in the college of social and management science, prior to the exam, teachers and faculty members at various colleges of the institution provided students with comprehensive study materials and guidance sessions. This ensured that all students had equal access to necessary resources and were adequately prepared for the exam.

Most of the students and staff praised the University Management for ensuring and providing ample examination materials, a conducive environment and maintaining Confidentiality all of which ensured the peaceful conduct of the exams.

Students interviewed acknowledged the managements effort in conducting a conducive environment during and after the examination as strict monitoring and supervision were maintained to prevent any form of cheating or misconduct.

The Exams and Record committee of the university board disclosed that exam halls were arranged in a manner that ensured each student had sufficient space and privacy to focus on their exam without distractions, strict monitoring and supervision were maintained to prevent any form of cheating or misconduct and provisions were made to accommodate students with special needs or disabilities, ensuring they had equal opportunities to demonstrate their knowledge and skills during the exam.

Although many of the students came out of the examination halls excited and optimistic of good grades, others regretted for not preparing and studying adequately.

Elias Mercy a 200-level student says “The exam went well, I’m grateful for the experienced lecturers and effective management at this great institution of learning, I’m very happy because I know I will have good grades”.

Adeoye Oluwaseun, 200 level Mass Communication student says “The exam was conducted very well, it was free and fair and I’m sure I will do so well in this examination.
