The philosophy of this programme is to produce practically oriented graduates in line with the philosophy of the University. The programme trains graduates with broad based curriculum of the various aspects of Microbiology, to inculcate microbiological concepts and techniques into students geared towards solving mankind problems and for self-reliance.
This philosophy extends across all science disciplines in the college, emphasizing practical skills, critical thinking, and the application of scientific knowledge to address real-world challenges and foster innovation.
The objectives of the programmes are to:
Bachelor of Science (BSc) programmes:
Study of chemical processes within living organisms, molecular biology, and metabolic pathways.
Study of microorganisms, their interactions, and applications in medicine, industry, and environment.
Application of chemical principles to industrial processes, manufacturing, and product development.
Mathematical modeling, optimization, and computational methods for industrial applications.
Study of matter, energy, and electronic systems with applications in technology and communication.
Study of earth materials, mineral resources, and sustainable extraction methods.
Application of physics principles to study the earth's structure, dynamics, and resources.
