The philosophy of the College of Community Health is rooted in the fundamental belief that health is a basic human right and that communities must be empowered to take charge of their own health outcomes. The programme is designed to produce community health professionals who understand the social, economic, cultural, and environmental determinants of health. Through an integrated curriculum that combines public health sciences, community engagement strategies, and preventive medicine principles, students are prepared to work collaboratively with communities to promote health, prevent disease, and improve healthcare access and delivery at the grassroots level.

Bachelor of Science (BSc) programmes:
Comprehensive training in community health assessment, primary healthcare delivery, health education, maternal and child health, communicable disease control, and community health program management. Graduates work as Community Health Officers, health educators, and primary healthcare coordinators.
Comprehensive training in epidemiology, biostatistics, environmental health, health policy and management, global health, and health systems strengthening. Graduates work as Public Health Officers, epidemiologists, health policy analysts, and program managers in government agencies, NGOs, and international organizations.
