The Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria’s visit to Wesley university, Ondo was considered a success.
Dr. Iyanuoluwa Ojo, a registered midwife from the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria described it as an advisory visit aimed at assessing strengths and providing encouragement to the school in areas requiring improvement.
She commended the University’s efforts to advance in the field of health sciences, particularly applauding the leadership of the school’s Vice Chancellor, Prof. Sunday Obeka, for his Exemplary work.
Dr. Iyanuoluwa expressed her admiration for the facilities, laboratories, collaborations, and other resources available at the university.
However, she advises the university to concentrate on improving aspects that require further development.
Professor Sunday Obeka, the Vice Chancellor of Wesley University, expressed gratitude towards the advisory team for their unwavering dedication and commitment to the University's College of Medical and Health Sciences.
Mrs. Adeniran Florence, Officer in Charge of Primary Health Centre, Akure North Local Government states that the center is available to welcome nursing and health students from Wesley University.
Olowofila Joshua, secretary to the advisory visit team says “It is the dream of the commission to have competent nurses in the country. It is always a thing of joy to see institutions who are willing to train students”.
